AI Route Generation with Mira
A core differentiator of the platform is Mira, BlueTide's integrated AI exploration guide.
Through a conversational interface, users define their preferences:
• duration of stay
• exploration categories (marine environments, coastal walks, natural landscapes)
• areas of interest across Malta

Mira processes these inputs and returns a dynamic, personalised itinerary: curated POIs, environmental descriptions, images and a mapped route visualised in real time on the interactive map.
This positions BlueTide at the intersection of AI, environmental education and digital tourism — creating a user experience that adapts to each visitor rather than offering a fixed, generic path.

Interactive Exploration Platform
BlueTide is not a standard tourism webapp. Following EcoMarine Malta's vision to protect marine ecosystems and spread this mission beyond Malta's borders, More Interactive designed and built a modular, scalable platform architecture, capable of hosting multiple geographical areas independently, while sharing a centralised user ecosystem through Single Sign-On technology.
BlueTide connects marine environments, coastal landscapes and inland routes through a geolocated interactive map that organises curated points of interest across Malta.
Each location represents an environmental observation point enriched with multimedia content, educational information and navigation tools. Users can explore individual locations or combine them into personalised exploration routes across the island.
Content and Editorial Management
The platform includes a fully featured administration system allowing editorial teams to manage and evolve the content ecosystem without developer intervention.
Admin capabilities include:
• uploading and categorising POIs with tags, media, audio and activity links
• managing marine species profiles and environmental fact sheets
• publishing and scheduling audio content and podcast embeds
• creating and managing quiz sets and downloadable vouchers
• overseeing partner applications and partner profiles
• monitoring registered users and managing access by area
